Therapy for Lasting Change

Individual Counseling in Nashville, TN

When we bring what’s hidden into the light—our thoughts, feelings, and patterns—we create space for transformation and growth. Mold grows in the dark; therapy illuminates what’s been holding you back so you can live more fully.

Your Space for Connection & Healing

Therapy that’s Direct, Compassionate, and Effective

You’re ready to reconnect—to yourself and the people who matter. I work with motivated individuals seeking honest feedback, real-world skills, and a warm, safe place to explore what’s been holding them back. My office is where challenge meets laughter, connection sparks growth, and lasting change takes root. Together, we’ll shed light on what’s been hidden and create new ways forward.

Caroline Camp, LPC-MHSP

I’m originally from East Texas, studied in New Orleans, and came to Nashville for graduate school—where I quickly fell in love with the city and decided to stay. Outside of work, I love traveling, running, catching live music, being near the water, and searching for truly great Mexican food.

My counseling journey started in college when I volunteered with a crisis hotline and realized how much I loved learning to support people in their hardest moments. Later, I worked as a neurofeedback technician in graduate school, which deepened my appreciation for the connection between mind and body.

Being a therapist never feels like wasted time to me—it’s an honor to sit with someone, hold space for their story, and walk with them as they find new ways forward.

Brainspotting

Rewiring Your Brain

Brainspotting is a gentle yet powerful therapy that works with your body and nervous system to help release what’s been stored from difficult experiences. Brainspotting begins with the body and deeper parts of the brain to reach places that talking alone often can’t. Many people find it helps resolve issues that years of talk therapy have not been able to touch. Using specific eye positions, we help your brain naturally process and let go of old pain, patterns, and emotional blocks so you can move forward with more ease.

FAQs

  • I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, experiential and somatic work, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches help us explore unconscious patterns and past experiences that shape your present, while providing practical tools for healing and growth. My role is to create a safe, supportive space where you can gain insight and turn that insight into meaningful change.

For trauma processing, I primarily use Brainspotting—a powerful, body-based method for accessing and resolving deep emotional and physiological blocks. I am also trained in EMDR (Somatic & Attachment Focused), another evidence-based approach that helps reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer hold the same emotional charge.

  • I am an out-of-network provider. I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

  • Sessions are $165 for 50 minutes. I am also able to offer session fees on a sliding scale based on financial need.
